Hey Dr. Dale. I absolutely used this Letter of Recommendation. My life and work experience have taught me that some people give special attention to titles and status. In my very specific situation at the very least, someone may say “what is so special about this applicant (that did not qualify for UNT’s HPAC committee because of a low GPA) that the Chair of Biology took the time to write him a LOR. Could be a potential Segway to draw someone into my story and journey to my desire of wanting to be a physician.
